Girls' Preseason Conditioning
A mix of fitness and ball work, every day after school from December 2nd to the 13th, and again from January 7th to the 17th. (We'll give you a break for exams...). Sessions are led by the captains, and should be over by 5pm each day if you arrive promptly, stay focused, and don't lollygag and chit-chat your way through the workouts.
Bring: water, running shoes, cleats, a stopwatch, and a ball if you have one.
Play at the Atlanta Eagles Complex in Doraville every Monday and Friday, with instruction provided by two highly-qualified and knowledgeable coaches.
Click the flyer to read all the details (be sure to RSVP as requested!), but this is definitely an opportunity you should be looking to take advantage of. It is a fantastic deal (pay-by-the-month) and you will gain a lot of new skills to take your game to the next level!
Many clubs offer offseason training sessions. If you play at a club, ask your coach if anything has been organized.
Training @ Home
Over the coming month, be sure to check out our new Training page for a variety of ideas, tutorials, and challenges for you to try out at home.
A note about training at home: I always recommend you use a log book so you can keep track of different challenges you try and workouts you do. It can be a simple paper-and-pencil log like this one, or electronically you can use an app or write yourself an email with your workout and results (I put everything in my Gmail so it is easy to search for something I want to reference later). It is a very simple way to stay motivated - nothing like looking back and noticing that you've tripled your juggling record in a month or can do twice as many skill moves in a 60 second time period!
